A second alternative is a product, which allows for a free choice of where to have the care, but with certain limits in the sums insured and a franchise on the expense. The premium is obviously adjusted accordingly.

There is a third alternative for the client, who is comfortable with the care given in Spain, in the clinics and by the doctors contracted by the insurer. This is a very good alternative, as the insurer contracts only the best private clinics and doctors.

All three alternatives offers regular check ups. It is important to note that in Spain, the private healthcare cover is tax deductible up to € 500 per year per insured person. For self employed clients the premium, for the whole family, can be paid for by the company and it is still tax deductible for the individual.
